MediaTek MT6580

MediaTek MT6580 is based on ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor and ARM Mali-400 MP graphics. It brings quad-core power and improved battery life to entry-level smartphones. The integrated graphics processing unit (GPU) accelerates the creation of images with optimal quality intended for output to a display. The entire architecture provides high-performance  by processing large blocks of data simultaneously.

The SoC features several connectivity options – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Multimedia features include support for 1080p video and a 13-megapixel rear camera.

MediaTek MT6572 is based on the energy-efficient ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor. It brings dual-core power to budget smartphones and improved battery life. As MT6582, MT6572 features a cost-optimised architecture that improve and simplifies product development, reducing manufacturing costs.

The chipset offers wide connectivity options – Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It supports 960 x 540 displays with MediaTek MiraVision™ technology, 5MP main camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera and 720p HD video.

MediaTek MT6582 is a quad-core SOC based on the energy-efficient ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor (1.3GHz). It features a cost-optimised system-level design that reduces manufacturing costs for product development and drastically speeds up the time to market.

The chipset features several connectivity options – Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. MT6582 supports 720p HD displays with MediaTek MiraVision™ technology, an 8MP main camera and 1080p Full HD video.

MediaTek MT6592

MediaTek MT6592 is an octa-core SOC based on ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor and ARM Mali™ graphics. The chipset’s 8 cores are fully scalable and capable of clock speeds up to 2 GHz for extremely efficient multi-tasking. An algorithm also monitors power consumption and temperature to ensure optimum performance.

MediaTek MT6592 also features a Full HD display controller and 16-megapixel image signal-processor. The wireless connectivity includes dual-band 801.11n Wi-Fi, multi-mode cellular modem and Bluetooth.

MediaTek MT6595

MediaTek MT6595 is an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. It is based on the ARM® ‘big.LITTLE’ architecture, with four high-performance Cortex®-A17 and four energy efficient Cortex-A7 processors to handle less intensive tasks. They run at a lower clock speed and hence consumes less power. The CPU balance tasks between the two type cores depending on how intensive they are.

MediaTek MT6595 supports Category 4 dual-mode LTE for worldwide 4G-network compatibility, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It also features a 20-megapixel camera image signal-processor and a 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) display controller.

MediaTek MT6732 is a 64-bit quad-core SOC based on the ARM® Cortex®-A53 processor (1.5 GHz clock speed) with ARM Mali™-T760 graphics. It delivers high performance with low power consumption and extremely efficient compatibility for 32-bit apps.

The connectivity options of the chipset include Category 4 dual-mode LTE, providing worldwide 4G-network compatibility, dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.  MediaTek MT6732 also support a 13-megapixel camera image signal-processor and Ultra HD video playback with H.265 codec.
